Questions schools ask
Before you try it
Does it use NESA’s new grade values?
Yes. A is 6 and F is 0, as NESA has graded since 2022, so a higher aggregate is better.
Which aggregates does it work out?
The five PLE subjects out of 30 at primary, and nine subjects out of 54 at O level, with positions.
Does it follow the September calendar?
Yes. Three terms from September to July, as NESA publishes them.
Which languages are set up?
Kinyarwanda, English and French from Primary 1, and every subject can be renamed.
Does it need the internet?
No. Msingi runs on the school’s own computer. The internet is only needed for updates, off-site backups and the optional cloud version.
