Questions schools ask

Before you try it

What does the analysis show?

For one form and one exam: the mean of each stream and each subject, the merit list, the learners who moved most since the previous exam, and the results of each subject teacher’s classes.

Does it compare with the last exam?

Yes. Every mean is shown with its change since the exam before, so you can see which streams, subjects and learners are improving.

Does it work for CBE and KCSE?

Yes. CBE classes are analysed by achievement level and mean percentage, and Forms 3 and 4 by KCSE grade and mean points.

Does it rank CBE learners?

Positions are off by default for CBE, because CBE does not rank. A school can switch them on, and the KCSE classes rank as usual.

Do we enter marks twice?

No. The analysis is built from the same marks teachers enter for report cards.
