Questions schools ask
Before you try it
What does Msingi cover?
Learner records with UPI and KNEC numbers, CBE marks and report cards, KCSE grades for Forms 3 and 4, fees and receipts with M-Pesa matching, the attendance register, the timetable and staff accounts.
Who in the school uses it?
The head teacher, the deputy or academic head, class and subject teachers, and the bursar. Each sees only what their role needs: teachers only their own classes, and the bursar no marks.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Everything runs on the school’s computer. If the school wants, Msingi Cloud also puts the same records in a browser and keeps them in sync.
Can we move our learners in from Excel?
Yes. Import a CSV of learners and choose which column is which. Marks can be pasted straight from a spreadsheet column.
How much does it cost?
One price for the whole school, set by enrolment, from KES 10,000 a year. Every teacher and every feature is included. The pricing page lists every band.
