Questions schools ask
Before you try it
Does it work out CSEE divisions?
Yes. Forms 1 to 4 are graded A to F, and the best seven subjects add up to the division, Division I to Division 0, as NECTA counts them. Positions follow the points.
And ACSEE?
Forms 5 and 6 count the three principal subjects; General Studies and Basic Applied Mathematics never take their place.
Does it follow the two-term year?
Yes. The school year runs in two terms, January to June and July to December, from the Ministry calendar.
Can subjects be named in Kiswahili?
Yes. Rename any subject (Hisabati, Sayansi, Uraia) without losing its marks.
Does it need the internet?
No. Msingi runs on the school’s own computer. The internet is only needed for updates, off-site backups and the optional cloud version.
